In response to a high demand from those of you who want to play OW golf occasionally but
also would like to be a bit competitive and play on a good course, we have set up a New
Fixture for 2023.
Sunday 18 th June will mark the very first Summer Meeting to be held at The Springs GC, near
Wallingford in Berkshire (look it up on thespringsgc.co.uk). This will be essentially a social
meeting but with some prizes and the day will be subsidised by the OWGS. We have yet to
decide the format but it will involve coffee and bacon rolls on arrival, fourballs, and a bar
lunch afterwards. Currently we are looking at the cost being around £25 a head excluding
drinks but covering everything else.
Everyone is welcome, whatever your handicap. The prime requirement is to want to play
OW golf with fellow OWs.
