Fellow OW golfers,
It is with pleasure that I can send out the details for this year’s Spring Meeting at Rye. We are back on track after the last 2 years’ enforced changes.
Please note the following.
1. We would really like to get the attendance of both the meeting and the dinner to around 30 people. The Fish Café was an excellent choice last year and they are holding their prices to the same level. However I’m afraid that we can only subsidise the younger members, now we are back to normal, but even so the price, including wine, is excellent value. The Rye Captain and Secretary are both coming, which is also very good news.
2. I still have some spare rooms available at The River Haven so if you haven’t let me know already that you want one for either the Friday or Saturday night or both, please do so.
3. As usual we will be holding a very fast AHGM and I attach the details of that. Please look at the attached notes etc. and if you have queries let me know so these can be answered so as not to hold up the AGM itself.
4. Finally as life is back to normal, we are having the 100 Club Draw – hurrah! If you are not a contributor to the 100 Club or want to know more about it email me.
I look forward to hearing from you. For those of you who have not come to a Spring Meeting or played at Rye before, this is a fun weekend.
PLEASE REMEMBER THAT YOU DON’T HAVE TO PLAY THE WHOLE WEEKEND. YOU CAN PLAY EITHER ONE DAY OR JUST ONE ROUND ALL PERMUTATIONS ARE POSSIBLE.
