John Goodeve-Docker

Dear Members of the OWGS,

I am very sad to tell you that John Goodeve-Docker passed away on Thursday 27th November after a short illness.

John (or “Docker” as he was affectionately known) was a very long standing member of the Old Wellingtonian Golfing Society. He was our Captain in the late 1980’s and he has been our incredibly hard working and revered Honorary Secretary and Treasurer for well over 25 years. He will be much missed in very many ways.

John’s family have asked me to tell you that his Funeral will be held at Mortlake Crematorium at 10am on Tuesday 9th December, with the wake from 12 noon at Royal Mid-Surrey Golf Club. All are welcome to attend (details here)
